About us
Get Lost Cabins is home to Ramune, Hugh, our dog Pipiras and an ever changing number of cats (at the time of writing two and a half). The land is sandwiched between the Dzukija pine forest and the banks of the Dulgas lake. Come visit and get lost in slow days mushroom picking in the forest, star gazing and lounging on the pier.
We have two guest cabins: one larger yellow cabin with two double bedrooms which can house 6 people and is approximately 70m from the lake, and a smaller blue cabin (coming August 2025) with one spacious open plan room that can house up to 4 and is 50m from the lake.
We did a lot of the building ourselves and learned a mountain of new skills from pouring floors to making our own furniture. We hope the cabins reflect the heart and soul that has gone into their creation and provide a small comfortable nest in which to enjoy this beautifully wild corner of Lithuania.

Comfort and amenities
We've built the cabins to have everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
The Yellow cabin is larger, has two double bedrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining, living rooom area. It has a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob and dishwasher. It is designed for families or groups of friends up to 6.
The Blue cabin is smaller and more intimate. Its focus is a little more on opulence with a large bathtub with spectacular views. It has one large open plan room with a kitchenette, living room and bed. It can house 4 but we designed it with couples in mind.
Both cabins are equipped with underfloor heating, A/C, spacious covered terraces with BBQ facilities. Pets are welcome (a small additional fee is applied).
Private and remote
Get Lost Cabins is several km away from any major roads and so very quiet and peaceful. The two cabins and our house are placed far enough away from each other to not encroach at all. Enjoy some isolation and the chance to spot some of Europe's most spectacular wildlife (including a moose that turns up every couple of months). However because we live on site, we can be reached at anytime. Although you can see some other properties' piers on the lake, they are all far enough away to not be imposing and the lake is large enough for you to enjoy a few hours exploring it either by boat or swimming.
Nature
We fell in love with the scenery here, the wild meadows, fields of young pines and birches and the reeded lake shore teaming with birds. We've made a conscious decision to impact the nature as little as possible, we maintain paths and the land immediately around the cabins, but leave the rest wild so you can also enjoy the majesty of Dzukija's nature untamed.

This place is like a five star hotel in the woods — highest quality amenities and the peace of nature. Everything was thought through — from the instructions to the tiniest details like wild flowers, vases, linen, shades, food from local farmers — everything. Everything is pristine, the lake is not so big but peaceful and quiet. Well done to hosts for the amazing job they’ve done.

I had an amazing stay at this cabin! It strikes the perfect balance between feeling remote and peaceful while still not being completely isolated, which made it feel both safe and private. The natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with easy access to a stunning lake nearby. Ramunė was very friendly and responsive. Even though I was able to arrive later than agreed, there were no problems checking in.
The cabin itself was spotless, brand new, and incredibly cozy. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and beds were really comfortable. There is everything you need for grilling and also a bonfire setup — perfect for relaxing evenings. This place is ideal if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort. Highly recommend!

Dieviška vieta miško ir pievų apsuptyje! Namelyje yra viskas ko gali prireikti, švaru, stilinga ir labai jauku. Nors ir buvo lietinga, veiklų netrūko, su vaikais stebėjome paukščius, žaidėme stalo žaidimus, kuriuos radome namelyje, kūrenome laužą ir žvejojome. Ačiū už galimybę paviešėti ir patirti.
